Nature tells stories—of growth, of beauty,

and increasingly, of disruption

As a behavioral scientist in psychology and photographer, I explore how people perceive, react to, and adapt to risks in a changing world.

Fire, heatwaves, heavy rainfall, and flooding—once considered purely natural phenomena—are now shaped by human activity. These events leave deep and lasting marks on communities and ecosystems. Climate change, urban expansion, and social pressures amplify their frequency and impact.

While we are often skilled at responding to disasters, long-term prevention and adaptation remain challenges. Recognizing this tension is the first step toward building resilience.

Through this homepage, I invite you to join me on visual walks through nature, discover how we prepare for and respond to disturbances, and explore the complex relationship between humanity and our environment.

The gallery above is arranged to tell a story: from nature/natural environments (left), through reactive measures/emergency responses (diagonal), to proactive resilience efforts (right).
